Experience music in the tropics at the 30th Anniversary Australian Festival of Chamber Music. Enjoy the finest music, friendly atmosphere and winter warmth in Townsville, Queensland from 23 July to 1 August. Over 40 musicians will perform over 10 days, including pianist Piers Lane, 13-year-old violinist Christian Li and the Goldner String Quartet. The music program curated by Artistic Director Kathryn Stott is themed Carnival and includes 133 works, 112 composers, 30 concerts, 4 world premieres & 5 Australian premieres.
