Julie Simonds interviews Martinez Parada

This morning Julie Simonds interviewed guitarist Victor Martinez Parada. An accomplished composer, teacher, and performer specializing in Flamenco, Jazz, and Latin folk music and a professional music career spanning more than 50 years, Victor is recognised as one of the finest avant-garde guitarists ever to come from his native country of Chile.

Fun fact: Victor has a long history with Fine Music Sydney, having recorded a version of Samba De Uma Nota which he recorded at our old station studio back in 1994 and he says that he feels “at home” at Fine Music Sydney.
