
Playing the Concourse’s two concert Steinways, two fine Australian pianists, Daniel Herscovitch and Clemens Leske, present a feast of the greatest music for two pianos. The concert is bookended by Mozart’s Sonata (K 448) and Brahms’ two-piano version of his well-loved set of 8 variations on the St Anthony Chorale, written for Clara Schumann. It also includes Grieg’s arrangement for two pianos of Mozart’s Piano Sonata (K 545) and works by Chopin, Britten and Saint-Saëns.
