Take two jazz presenters with a focus on recent jazz of the world, and you have Jazz on Wednesdays. Every week, Robert Vale (Jazz Sketches at noon) and Xavier Bichon (Planet Jazz at 7pm) bring you the best of contemporary world jazz.   

This Wednesday (9/6) they will feature the new solo album of German pianist Joachim Kuhn, playing the music of Mal Waldron, Bob Marley, Prince, Bill Evans and Beethoven. Possessing a contemporary style, Kuhn delivers refreshing interpretations of pieces ranging from pop to jazz and classical. An acclaimed musician and a popular artist on the European scene.
