In 2021 The Music Teachers’ Association (MTA) of NSW, Newcastle Branch, celebrates it’s 40th Anniversary on Saturday 10 April, 7.30pm in the Newcastle City Hall.

To mark 40 years of connecting educators, facilitating professional development, and providing performance and learning opportunities for the instrumental music students of Newcastle, the Hunter region and beyond, MTA Newcastle proudly presents Gerard Willems AM in concert.
Gerard Willems AM is Australia’s pre-eminent Beethoven interpreter and one of its finest concert pianists.

Join us in celebrating this milestone and experience what will be an amazing recital. Featuring works selected by Mr Willems and including the world premiere of a work commissioned by MTA NSW to mark the occasion written by well known local composer Mr Andrew Chubb.
