CD of the Week (19 – 25 July)

Nocturnes is the debut release from brilliant young violinist Emily Sun, with pianist Andrea Lam.  For her debut album Emily performs music of passionate, intense beauty from the great French masters, including two of the best-loved works for violin: César Franck’s deeply romantic Violin Sonata, and Gabriel Fauré’s magical First Violin Sonata – alongside classic pieces, Clair de lune, and La Vie en Rose.

Fine Music Sydney subscribers have the chance to win a copy of Nocturnes courtesy of our station sponsor.
